whiring noise OH $#%$^%
ok, hope I got your attention, need help. I was driving today all was fine, then the noise started, a whirring, almost winding down noise, like the toy car you repeatedly push to build momentum right before you let em go and they race away. It only happens when going above around 30 mph and only when coasting/deceleration, brake or accelerator makes it go away. It seems to be coming from right side of car, passenger side in Canada. I could swear it was from in my glove box. I really want to nip this in the bub, please help me out.
it does not sound like the pump that kicks on when I start the car sometimes, its just a grindy whiring winding down noise, only when letting off gas or brake and decelerating, wow this is brutal trying to explain a noise and conditions lol, I really want it solved so I will do what I can to describe it.
It may be loud enough, it just started out of the blue this afternoon, just went to do some running around. It is definitely above 30mph and when I decelerate, gas or brake make it stop. I am lost lol
OK so when you decelerate that creates a torque.
This is a low frequency noise and grinding.
My vote is the drive shaft is rubbing against something
or the center bearing is going bad.
or the diff is going bad.
Check your engine mounts.
Check your transmission mounts.

Bought fresh fluids today, going to change everything and hopefully it stops.
