Whistle
While cruising like not stop and go down a highway after i get up to 40mph i hear this slight whistle or wine it sounds almost like a supercharger in a way. also when i left off the gas i hear a clunk and when i put on the gas i hear a clunk. Is this my driveshaft? i rebuilt it myself replacing the ujoints and the center bearing unless i messed up somewhere and its starting to fail again what could be happening?
followed this to guide to rebuild it: www.discovery2.co.uk / Workshop :- front and Rear propshaft

The gear driven T-cases do whine by nature, and the clunk in 4th gear could also be related to the transfer case. Since there is a decent amount of play in an all wheel drive transfer case, and the Discovery 2's transmissions 4th gear is overdriven, when you let off the gas, everything shifts, and boom there's your clunk, that's also why 4th gears coasting speed sucks, because its overdriven.
Although, I would check to make sure you have sufficient oil levels in the transfer case, as this could make your whine more apparent, and check the driveshaft(s) again, as extra resistance in a drivetrain component could case your clunk to be louder.

You can just pull the fill plug on flat ground, if nothing comes out, its not full, pretty straight forward! I would check it out if your not sure, its better safe than sorry, no doubt about that.
Its a really easy job, a good tip when refilling the t-case: if your using a hand pump, put the gear oil bottles in a hot sink, and it'll soften them up so you can fill it up easier!
