You can do a 1/3 of a bottle in the transfer case. But you need to drive your Rover once you put it in. It works by mixing with the fluid and expanding the RTV and seals. Also try 75w-140 syn gear oil depending on your climate. It will stop or slow down any leaks you have.

1/3rd a bottle and I agree. flush your old oil out and refill with a 75 or 85/140 and 1/3rd a bottle.
