Default Dead battery, hook up charger, sls pump turn on?

Just like the title says, I have a weak or dead battery the past 2 days.
Yesterday I drove it in the AM (cold morning again - 32 degrees F) for the 1st time and it starts fine.
I go to drive 2nd time 30 mins later and there is not enough juice to turn it over.

I put a battery charger on it, and right away the SLS pump starts pumping for 1-2 seconds and stops. It does this intermittently. I open drivers door and it stops the pump. 30 mins later I try to start, and it starts fine.
Okay, so maybe something is going on with SLS system???
I go out a few times later on and it starts 3 more times without a problem.

One of the trips I get back to driveway and open door and I can hear SLS pump turning on with door open. I thought this was not supposed to happen.

Today (cold morning again - 32 degrees F), I go to start. Not enough juice to fire up, but horn sounds strong. I put battery charger on. SLS pump begins to pump again, 1-2 seconds and stops. It does this intermittently until I open drivers door.

Okay, I have a 2000 DII SE7. I just changed the SLS airbags 4 days ago due to one side sagging. I am going to have battery checked with a tested at parts store to see how it operates with a load on it. I was getting good readings on my multi meter - 11+ volts off, 13.3 volts motor on.

1) Anything else I need to check?
2) Why is SLS pump running with motor off and battery charger on battery?

The SLS system sucks, I would have ripped it out and put in springs.
Unplug the SLS pump, does the battery still go dead?

I actually love my SLS and just replaced the air springs after 11 years.

There have been posts about the SLABS not going to sleep when powered off.

Default Fixed for now

Haha on the SLS quote....
I took it up to Autozone and got them to put a load on the battery. Battery would not hold a load, so I guess bad cell in battery. Installed a new Duralast Gold battery and good to go.
No more dead battery issues or SLS pump issues at that time.

Now all the sudden my SLS Pump is not kicking on.... I will start a new thread for that one....

Pretty harsh statement for someone who has never had one. Most SLS owners really like the system for the load capacity and softer ride on and off road.

Yes, I would agree. That is why I looked to get one with SLS.
I felt the ride was better than springs and also the load leveling is NICE.
