Sounds like a lot of the colonies contributed then. Well, maybe not Hong Kong, but the new parent country anyway.

Everyone here is incorrect......the lowest bidder made those engines.

Question, If I was to look for a engine block with heads, to possibly rebuild slowly, can I look to buy a buick block? Or do I have to stick to the one made by LR for the 04 D2?

I would say that the engine was modified enough over the 30+ years so that a Buick block wouldn't quite fit.

bahhaha i think you would have more trouble finding a usable working 60 year old engine

wouldnt be the last time a vagabond was in my truck.
