Who makes a good rear Diff Guard?
Just curious who make a good rear bolt on diff guard.
I don't want to pay over $150
Also, for those of you who wheel a lot do you really hit rocks & such with with your diffs. Just curious.
I have a front diff guard that bolts on but only the protects the face and not underneath.

I have yet to bang my diffs on anything, I think they are only needed if you rock crawl.
Normal trails, ditches and fallen trees are no problem, but rocks strewn every which way are a different story.

Well guys I bought these on eBay and am having my welder buddy add 1/2" on both sides to make the circumference 27.5 inches. Which is what the measurment is on a DII. Then they will clamp on the front ring of my front Diff. But as you can see the rear diff is not protected at all. And the front Diff is only protected from the face not from underneath. Later this year I am moving to Sedona AZ and will be doing some trails around there that are 90% rock. Just want to have my armor in place.
I have sprayed them with Rusoilium truck bed liner and they look nice. But now thinking about it. They will only work on the front. The rear diff faces the opposite way and does not need protection from the back which would be goofy!

I know KMC ACM or one of this makes a bolt in place galvanized rear guard. Think it is really ugly though. Has anyone come across another this a bolt on at a decent price? I dont want to weld anthing on

So after digging around on Google a little. It seems the best option for a bolt on rear Diff guard is a QT.
Here is link to purchase a rear QT from Lucky8.

Seems $120 is the going rate. Not too bad

If I had to design a sensible rear diff guard I would use a straight piece of steel that is contoured to the shape of the entire axle and bolted between the control arms to prevent the damage to the diff and the axle tubing plus, drill some holes in the bottom to prevent water damage to the rear pan.
I go to a few places in the UK which are basically very rocky, and I can see by the marks on my Diff guards that they were def a good idea.
I have bolt on front and rear QT's and would 100% recommend them to anyone.

Can you give me a part number on a front QT Bolt On front Diff guard for a DII. All the ones we have in the USA by QT are weld on. I would rather not go that route. Also maybe a link if you have one for a UK dealer that will ship the USA for the front. I know with the Euro it will be a bad exchange rate, but I would still like to price it.
Thanks,
Dave

Correct me if I'm wrong Panzer, but I believe this is the front guard you are running (from a Defender TD5)
