I have run QT's, front and rear for year for all the extra protection they give both going forward as well as in reverse.

I ended up buying QT's front and rear too. I bought the set from Lucky 8. If you call Justin he will set you up for a DII. I ended up welding on the front Diff guard tabs as my first welding project in about 4 years. They look tuff and also add a skid to lower part of your axles. You wont regret spending the $260 once installed they look hard.

Problem is cheap doesn't give you all the protection your diffs. need if you are playing hard.

True Mike; You never know when you want to go for it in a rocky section. A dented or punctured diff is a day ender. And the built in skid under your axles is an added bonus. The QT's just look hard with the Eletro gold plate rust protection.

Yea i looked around for cheaper alternatives, but after looking at the competition so to speak i decided to just go for it. No one else offered the same amount of protection for the cost. I ordered the front & rear QTs from lucky 8 yesterday. From those that have welded that front mounting plate on (as is required) is it difficult? i haven't welded anything in about 2 years and don't want anything to complicated so i don't mess up super bad haha
