Default Rear Shocks EZist job I ever did

I replaced the rear shocks on my 2001 Disco, It was the easiest shock job I ever did. It took less than half an hour. Just put Monroes @ $43 a piece from Oriely's not as good as KYBs or Bilsteins but a lot better than what was on there which were totally dead.

I drove the rear end up on Rhino ramps

I used an 18mm impact to loosen the lower bolts

I used an 18 socket to loosen the top bolts and they came right out no prodding needing just fell off perch.

Hand compressed the new one a little to adjsut lenght

Put a little anti-sieze on bolts

Bolted them up and thats it.

Good to hear that it was a simple and straight forward job. You did good by using anti seizing grease on the bolts. Out of curiosity how many miles did the original shocks have?
