I recentlly purchased an '02 Disco. When I went to replace the windsheild wipers I noticed it did not use what I would consider a standard replacement blade. The area where the blade mounts to the wider arm is much thinner. Is this standard for a Disco or do I possible have aftermarket wiper blades/arms?

My 1996 Range Rover uses a standard replacement, which leads me to believe these could be aftermarket.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Walmart, Michelin 20" Blades for $ 6.97 ea, extract the narrow refills and insert in the existing wiperframes. Toss the empty frames. [sm=goodidea.gif]

 

I got replacements from eBay originally for about $30 in total.

I anticpate them wearing out within a year and will be replacing mine with the SillBlades.
