Default Wife stole my Disco back...

'04 Disco with almost 200K. Was the wife's DD since new up until about a year ago when we got her a gorgeous 2010 BMW 550i GT.

I spent the better part of last year restoring the Disco back to its former glory. It's in great shape now. I love that thing! Easy to work on, pretty straightforward, parts are plentiful and readily available.

I've also been doing a ton of work to my other toy, a 2005 GTO. Now that the GTO is on its feet again (6 month complete drivetrain revamp), wifey decides she dosen't like the BMW anymore (the car I pushed her into) and wants "her" Disco back.

Fine! I'm going to sell the BMW and get another '04 Disco - lower miles and preferably white (her favorite color). I can already tell how that will end - I'll get the original Disco back. His and her's Discos in the oil soaked driveway.

So, anyone have a "low" mile white "04 for sale?

My 2002 is STILL my wife's daily driver as she was the original owner from new. I have only been driving it daily the last 1-2 months because of a small rash of repairs it needed, and I need to "keep an eye on things" for a while (wink wink). She wants it back though. :-(

When we first got ours, I would drive it to work and my wife would come and take it shortly after I got to work. I would go outside on my lunch break and it would be gone!

Never thought it would have grown on me as much as it did. I must be a glutton, as I really enjoy working on it. Went deep too, cam and everything associated with it, crank and rod bearings, entire cooling sys, etc,... Pretty cool group of peeps on this forum too!

You drive the 2010 BMW.
Let her drive the disco.

Or you can do this.
