I found an older Dico I at a local wrecking yard,...Wondering if the rear power sunroof set up will fit my 2003 D2?

 

95% perscent sure, the only reason not 100% is I never did the swap myself. I have sold D1 and D2 sunroofs to people who told me they were interchangeable and they never came back to tell me otherwise.

 

Yes, the sunroof rails, drip tray, shades and motors are all interchangeable.

Are the corresponding rear roof consoles for electric sunroofs also interchangeable (partnumber EHI100030LUM from D2 with partnumber BTR4543LUM from D 2) ?
I’m very interested.



Console from Disco 300 Tdi (will be replaced bij console for electric sunroof)

Console from D2 ; will this fit in my D1 300 Tdi ?

Yes, 100% the rear and sunroofs all fit and interchange between D1 and D2. Front and rear are the same. D1 and D2 are the same.

I don't know if that piece of plastic will interchange though, I recall that center portion where the switch is actually doesn't pop out, it's made together with the rest of it.
