Amazing price. HF has been holding pretty much the same price for their 9K and 12K winches for the past few years. If you are planning to buy this winch .... post #15 in this thread has some good advice.... grease re-pack before you mount the winch...

That will be a good deal with AAA, smart too that they need not be called if you get stuck.

Agreed! Winch or no winch.... considering the random reliability of Discos.... every owner needs an AAA membership or some sort of towing assistance policy from the insurance company
