2003 Discovery 2

Rookie question. Just put in a new door window motor front passenger. Moves well. Issue is that when "auto" lowered it won't stop until it disappears below the lip of the door gasket and into the door. After that it will not come up without being gripped and pulled. Guessing I'm missing some form of "stop" at the bottom.

Suggestions, please.

Had this same issue couple weeks ago. Window motor just a couple of years old. I replaced both regulator and motor but could have just replaced motor to fix.
