Rear driver's side window has always given me a bit of trouble. I had to click it down and then up to put it up and closed. So this morning, it is not going up at all. I try my trick and goes but stops halfway up. The thing aint budging. I tried the fuses, switching them, trying the replacement. No luck. So tomorrow's forecast is thunderstorms and really do not want to tape a trashbag to the window. Any suggestions? PLEASE!

 

year? is the motor whirring? Take the panel off and check the regulator. The plastic wheels that go inside the channels break often. Try to pull the window up using your hands. If it does go up, but wants to fall back down, use a couple of screw drivers (carefully) to wedge it up until you can replace the regulator

 

My apologies. 2003. I dont hear ANYTHING. You would think the button didnt even work. I did try to pull it up with my hands but could not get it to go past a certain point. It almost felt locked.

 

I am unsure if it would be a bad motor, switch, some sort of electrical ordeal...

 

Your window regulator has broken, how mechanic are you?

 

Moderate. Enough to try it. Any leads in the right direction to get me started on the fix?
