Default Winter Thinking Cap

Way ahead of the game right now, but being in Ontario Canada, I am trying to think of any and all things I must do to the disco before it gets cold. If there is no definitive winter prep list, as in fluid changes etc can we start one for us poor bastards who have to go though 18 months of pure ball breaking cold. I definitely want to drain and refill coolant and am trying to find out what therm to run, also thinking that I should change out fuel filter, any good write ups on that one? Also anybody know where to find cheap replacement hoses for our trucks, silicone would be sweet but rubber works, had the top small breather hose break on me so am using a thin silicone hose for now, would like everything to be stock or as close to so My fam can be safe this year.

the fuel filter is part of the pump inside the tank. I have not seen anyone selling silicone hose for a v8 only diesels

triarii has a good list. not sure how condoms made the list, but I guess you have to stay warm somehow. I was just going to say bigger tires and bigger bumpers...

Skip the condom, I'm guessing a pregnant woman puts out much more heat.

Never know who you might run into while your stranded - better to spend a night stranded with a girl then by ones self No I added condoms to see if anyone would catch it! Just being a wise guy
