That Pennzoil rebate that I posted about...the Super Wal-Mart 15 miles away had the rebate, the Wal-Mart 2 miles from my house did not.

Your Wal-Mart wont carry Castrol Syntec 20w-50 if nobody ever buys it.
But the Wal-Mart in the next town will because people buy it.
So while you can get Rotella 5w-40 in full synthetic I cannot.
I can get Rotella in 5w-40 in dino form, but not full syn.
My Wal-Mart also carries Mobil Delvac 15w-40, Rotella 15w-40 and Castrol Tectra 15w-40, all dino oils.

 

I hear you I've seen the Rotella at Advanced Auto also here so I figured it was fairly easy to come by. I actually almost switched to Rotella 15w-40 dino this summer when I saw how cheap that huge jug was at walmart.

BTW That deal on penzoil premium is sweet I bought a jug and sent my parents to buy a jug since it is for their cars.

 

I buy my oil at Wal-Mart because it is the cheapest place around and then I buy my oil filters at Pep Boys because they are right next door to Wal-Mart and they carry Purolator oil filters.
I would by my oil there too but it costs WAY to much there.

 

All Rotella 5w40 is synthetic. It's the 15w40 Rotella that is dino oil.
