You all need to be a little more creative

I got the Rain-X Latitude blades to fit my DII arms perfectly! You just take apart all of the OE plastic parts on the DII arms till there are just the holes through the arm. The Rain-X blade fits perfectly inside the DII arm, and they provide you with a pin that slides through the holes in the arm and "locks" into place with an arm that slides around the side of the pivot preventing the pin from moving.

Works GREAT and those big Rain-X blades look great on the beefy DII arms! I actually had a set of DI arms and was about to put them on when I realized how different they looked.

The reason most people switch to DI arms is not looks related, it's the stupid tension spring on the DII arm that craps out and they lose all pressure against the windshield so no matter what wiper blades you put on, you get crappy performance.

Is there a way to get more rear wiper arm tension without using the D1 arm on a D2?

You have to get the ones they specify because the icon adapters are goofy...yet another reason I like the neoforms - no adapters. Open the package and simply put them on.

ehill03: Lots of different opinions on sizes- some say 21", some 19 & 18"....does it matter? BI's labeled A & B- are they interchangeable? Thoughts?
Also - ALWAYS stick with the sizes your particular brand specifies. One brand may say 19 and the other may say 20 and both answers may be right since I've found almost a full 3/4 difference in actual lengths for the same size.

I'm about to buy DI wiper arms from roversnorth to put on my DII and I'm wondering if I'll also need to get the wiper arm caps along with that? Would save me about $12 if I didn't need them...
