Default wiper motor

Wipers work fine on normal and fast speeds. On intermitten though they stop randomly at any given spot on the windshield. Am I replacing the motor?

Sounds like it is starting to show some age, so yes at some point it will need to be replaced. You will know when, usually it will stop at the wrong spot on the regular cycle and that's when you know the park switch inside the motor is going bad.

Got a wiper motor today and a rim to replace on of mine hat was pretty scarred up.Used the Rave cd for the how to on the motor. Pretty simple. A used motor from a guy here in Ky down in Glasgow for $60, rim in great shape for $75. TThe old motor - is it repairable? Hold on to it or pitch it?

Usually when the wiper motor starts to stop when it wants, the park switch inside the motor is failing and as far as I know, they can't be replaced.

The motor is solid state,no taking it apart, so it is garbage then. Thanks Mike.

I have friend in Denver. Hoping to get out there in February to visit her . Would like to meet up if possible.
