My wipers will take forever for the initial wipe in cold weather too. Whats the deal?

to me, the pause and jerk sounds like the lever.... Can you let the lever back up slowly and stop the wipers?

Nope, have tried every combination. Let off super quick, let off super slow and everything in between.

I have the same problem, it seems like the selector switch makes a connection on mine and i here a click from under the dash but the wipersdon't move until the disco warms up . I am going to try cleaning the connections to see what happens when the weather warms up. Good luck.
