Default Wipers do not return to full rest

Hey guys good to be back. I've been noticing lately that about 60% of time when I use my wiper blades, they are not returning to full rest at the bottom of the windshield. They go about 85% down now. Any idea at whats causing that?

Are both stopping at the same place on the glass, or different?

The wiper park logic is part of the motor. Either replace the motor or the wiper transmission.

Well it seems to return to rest now but the wiper tend to land harder than they did before. It is noticeably louder when they are on. So I have to keep it on the lowest setting to keep it semi quiet.

Test them with a garden hose spraying on the windscreen provided it not freezing where you are. If they hit the bottom of the windscreen they may need adjustment. It's very simple, one bolt on each arm. They may have come loose or been forced due to dry screen or iced into place at some stage. Like everything else unfortunately, the wipers do wear out over time.
