Default Wires and plugs

After I ordered all the parts I have finally completed changing the wires and plugs. A ran into a couple of issues that I have resolved - 1st I had to have my #5 cylinder helicoiled. Also, one wire had a pinhole and began arching on the engine. So I resolved both issues and drove to work this morning with no "Service Engine Light." I used Champion Copper Plugs with Kingsport 8 mm wires.

I followed the directions on one of the threads. I bent the screwdriver, covered with black tape and removed all from the coilpack and did one at a time. It took me a little over 2 hours.

Not familiar with Kingsport...you mean Kingsborne? Great wires if so, I used them on my 03.

Default Kingsborne

Yes, Kingsborne. I didn't have the name with me. Nevertheless working great - put more than a 100 miles on the Disco today and she is running wonderfully.

Just curious, how did you fix the pin hole?

Default Wires and plugs

Mike,
Great question - I didn't. I got a new wire - replacing the #4 is not easy with doing the rest, but I got it done. I am going through your list for new owners slowly but surely.
