Default Wiring ARB turn-signal

I finally decided to hook-up the turn-indicator lights on my ARB bumper (pulled it from another truck). My knowledge with respect to all-things-electrical is extremely basic. I ordered the correct wiring loom (ARB 6821152), and now I have to splice it into the existing wiring. I'm intending to use scotch-lock or similar quick-tap devices. I've identified the correct wires for the turn-indicators in the wiring harness: Green/White, .5mm, position 3 on the right, and Green/Red, .5mm, position 3 on the left. I've also identified the 3 different ground wires (black) that are part of the harness on either side. On each side/multiplug, 2 of the ground wires (including the ground for the direction-indicator circuit) is a 1.5mm wire. Then there is a .5mm ground for the side-lamp. My ARB wiring loom has three wires - red, black, and green. The wires are similar in size to the .5mm wires.

I know the green wire in the wiring loom gets connected to a ground. Do I have to connect it to the ground wire for the direction-indicator lamp, or can I use the .5mm ground wire for the side-lamp? The green ground wire in the ARB wiring loom is particularly small, and I think the disparity in diameter between the 1.5mm ground wire in the harness and the thin ground wire in the wiring loom would prevent me from using a scotch-lock.

I'm guessing the black wire in the ARB wiring loom is the live/primary wire and the red is a live/secondary wire. If that's right, I should splice the black wire from the ARB loom into the wires I've identified as powering the direction-indicator (and hazard) lamps. What do I with the red wire from the wiring loom?

I'd very much appreciate any help.

Ground is ground is ground. It's literally connecting to the steel body of the truck, so you don't have to think in terms of separate grounds for each signal.

I appreciate it. That's what I thought, but I wasn't confident. Any insights with respect to the red and black wires . . . connect the black to the turn-signal power and don't use the red? connect them both to power?

I don't have any idea what the red and black wires go to, so I can't really help. Can you find any instructions on the ARB website?
At a guess though, I'd say that one wire goes to the left signal and the other goes to the right.

Some ARB bumpers come with corner lights that work as parking and turn signal. I suspect with 3 leads, your harness a one that supports switchback or the dual circuit type corner lamps.

That's a good idea. The lights in the bumper do have two-color lenses (orange and clear). The parking lights seem to work in conjunction with the side-lamp in the headlights, so maybe it gets spliced into that wire.

I have the ARB instructions, but they're not helpful. All they say is the wiring loom gets spliced into the vehicle's existing wiring.

Yeah ARB instructions are a bit light on the bumper wiring bit. If you've got a multimeter, you can check power to leads with just the parking lights on to see if you can track down the right lead to tap. I'd be surprised if someone didn't have a wiring schematic somewhere though.

Stopped by an off-road shop that does a lot of bumpers, winches, suspensions, etc. Evidently the black wire in the loom is the ground ... (makes perfect sense as all the ground wires in the headlight harnesses are black . . . green is a ground in residential applications), the green wire goes to the turn-indicator circuit, and the red goes to the side-lamp circuit.
