yeah.. ok... well when I was 16 i was crimping things together with my dads needle nose.. you missed the point.. the point is, if you solder and shrink tube your connectors, you never have to worry about them. I'm sure there are some excellent crimp connectors out there... that wasn't the point.
No, I get your point. My point is by using the correct tool, you never have to worry about them either. Plus it doesn't take nearly as long and requires far less materials. Many times in the past have I resorted to soldering, gluing, nailing & banging things together to make them work; I feel your pain.
