It takes like a hour to replace the starter on these trucks.

remote just self distructed. Was using CDL to lock the lock the car, then trying to be careful about not turning the key to the right and locking the car with the key. Made mistake Sunday night and turned wrong way. Alarm went off and got around the alarm
buy entering car then locking, but can't start car. LR dealer is 350 KM away in Panama
City. Can you help me? Have 1999 LR D2. Truck runs great when I don't mess up the locking mechanism.

put in new valve cover gaskets

man you gotta fix that oil leak on the valve covers.
That will require a pretty good tear down to get in new gaskets, spacers and little 8mm 12 point nuts.

That is pretty much all that solved our leakage on our 1997 and my 2001.
