Default Work progressing THX all...

Thanks for theresponses past couple days. Decided to do the suspension first on the truck, front shocks in last night, and I'll put the rears in today, as well as change the diff oil.

Dug a little deeper, and found that top ofthe airbox was cracked on the side, and missing a big piece....thinking that might have something to do with the rough running at idle. Intake is probably full of junk. Bought some MAF cleaner, anyone use it? Or too risky on that expensive part, also some Sea Foam creeper for the trottle body. Any other tricks?

Had to go to Rover for the top of the airbox, actually cheaper than expected....We'll see how it goes.

THX again

What year is the truck, if it is a D2, DON'T clean the MAF or you will kill it. Do you have any fault codes?

Yes it is a DII, and no, no fault codes, just rough idle. thx for the heads up. I guess just clean forward of it, prior to the throttle body.

Thx Mike.
