Worn Rod Ends

Upon inspecting all 4 rod ends, I found 1 that has maybe 1/8" play in it. It is the one on the wheel end of the rod that goes steering box to pass. side wheel.
Would that be enough to cause a "loose" or "woobly"feeling while going over bumps or road irregularities? At first, I thought it was bad shocks, but found the bum rod end. BTW, steering stabilizer is brand new, and panhard bushings have zero play in them.

Changed all four on my 97 D1, 172K; steering improved quite a bit, and was able to adjust drag link to level the wheel. I went with the zerk fitting ones from DAP Enterprises, I think it was about $70 for the whole set. In your area, the number of potholes can exceed the number of pine trees, so it might be time....

I did the same thing on my D1, all 4 from DAP. But all 4 needed replaced. Unfortunatly, my D2 has them funky rods that have one rod end stamped permanently in.
I have been debating getting the HD rods from lucky8, as the rod with 2 ends would still be cheaper than using O.E. design replacement parts, and I would not have to replace the whole rod if just the ends were bad.
