I second the notion.
San Diego is NOT cheap.
Everyone drives 70 to 80 here on the freeway.
So, the Land Rovers will be "worked in" at least as far as the drive shaft goes.
IF you can get the Discovery dirt cheap in San Diego, then just drive it.
If it falls apart - then just donate it to Good Will.
If you expect a new car - then get a NEW CAR.
