Yes, and I also bought a new black cover from redline products. Not happy with the seam location as they DO NOT line up with the OEM steering wheel grooves. They said to cut my own grooves..whaaa? how about sewing the seams in the correct location.....Other than that, their leather was very nice.

Why don't you post this in the build thread forum?

lol!

well, it's not 'new' but it's in excellent shape. 125$ delivered..off ebay.

I also bought redline cover for a beat up wheel. Nice leather (nearly matches OEM), but the seams do not line up with the grooves in steering wheel. Redline says to cut new grooves into steering wheel, and fill in the old ones... really......
I would rather that they just sewed it correctly in the first place. There is a guy on ebay from poland or another eastern EU country that does a great job replacing the leather, but his color black seemed just a bit off from OEM......250$ includes the wheel (not electronics)...

as far as the engine build, had a stripped lower mani bolt hole in passenger head which had to be heli coiled....should have been checked by seller before shipping out heads ... all other holes OK.

had to return both rocker arm assemblies to AB. The cast steel rocker arms rod receptacles were poorly machined, some so rough it was shocking.......went straight back.

Did order a set of britpart ones..let's see if these are any better..... also, ordered two cans of liqui moly engine oil flush... going to also add remote coils, have to build mount and extensions this weekend...

Received Britpart rocker assemblies. 14 out of 16 rocker arms OK....2 had weak crimps on the rod cups , so I'm going to use two of the best old arms I have. They are alloy arms with hardened inserts for valves and rods like the OEM. Other than that, look decent ..and cheaper too! They do not come with new bolts, but include all other parts, including OEM style standoffs....

Xrad the walker cps you got seems still not that bad? I need to get one and was thinking of that one at least.

Walker unit works fine for 500-700 miles so far...was my DD for a while until HG coolant leak out driver side...

Britpart rocker assemblies in place. Used the best two old arms to replace the britpart arms with crappy crimps on cups(double check cup depth on all arms before install!) those cups that are not set deep enough have super lame crimps).

New injectors w/seals. I like the VR head gaskets and valley gasket fit great(and maybe valve stem seals). The rest of the kit is crap. The valve cover gaskets are TOO small, so used a NOS set of allmakes, which fit perfectly. The VR O rings for coolant pipes are wrong size. Missing numerous other gaskets, and comes with a whole bunch of stuff you don;t need. Better check when you get one and call seller to provide the rest of the gaskets.

Made up some EV1 3 pin connectors . Going to move coils up front. Tired of messing around with the poor design in a poor location. Just have to weld up a mount.

almost done.....just have to fab the coil pack mount....

tip: it is way easier to install coolant hoses/thermostat with the battery box removed......and install the water pump lower hose before the alternator mount....
