Default XYZ went away...

so yesterday I was going to overhaul the XYZ switch because its been killing me for the past week. I was going to the hardware store to get the nuts and bolts I needed and decided to go back and forth from D to R slowly numerous times. No more p0705 code and no more flashing M S D. Im sure I will have to overhaul this down the road but I wonder if by going slow like I did if I may have cleaned the contact points. Day 3 and its perfect.

Maybe you just pushed some of the Noxubee County mud out of the contact spot.

Yes or or corrosion. When these things go sideways you can be forced into one gear. I would not wait until that day to get under there and fix it

I am a fan of the "wait and see" method, it add's more excitement to a otherwise dull life.

I have found many things on a Rover will act up just to let you know they are there, pay some attention to them and all is well once again, kinda like a woman, ignore her long enough and your life will be a living hell, give her a hug once and awhile and you will never have any problems, Rovers are the same way.

I pat mine on the hood and run my hand down the front fender telling her I love her and shes a good girl once a week and I have not broken down since I dont know when.
My wife gets jealous.

It did this to me a few years ago as well. I will do it after I get my lift put on. Thanks guys for all the good advice. Spike as always your post are informative and amusing. I just got rear ended again so time to a HD rear bumper!
