Default went to use the hid away tow hitch today

Hide a way hitch on our somewhat new to me lr3 when to swing it into position and go figure it wouldn't move. I get to closer looking and there is a lock on the *** and we don't have a key for it.

So my question is what can I do about it. I have a 4200 mile road trip to do next month and was planning on one of those hitch mounted racks as extra storage for the trip

I'm not going to tell you here how to remove the lock and fix it as that would be giving away secrets to possible undesirables. First you need to get a new lock (available on ebay) and hopefully it should be self explanatory. If not then send a PM for further details.

Sorry for the cloak and dagger air, but if all-and-sundry know the working of this you could lose everything attached to it.

Fair enough. Is there a specific part number I should be looking for or will a general search pull it up?
