Default Yes or No on doing plugs and fluids?

I'm the 2nd owner of an '03 Disco II. 70k miles. Mostly dealer serviced. I emailed the dealer to determine what work was performed at 60k (using disco's mike's infamous service post)

Also, in a verbal chat with the dealer, the dealer confirmed that fluids were dropped and replaced.

Below is what the dealer wrote concerning the plugs, wires, and coil pack.

"60K was done 1/12/10 plugs changed only miles 48477"

So, pretty much three years to the date that the 60k service was performed on the Rover.

Questions:
1. Should I consider doing the fluids given that 20k miles were put on in the past three years?
2. What about the plugs? Do them as well, with wires and coil pack? No telling if the plugs replaced were the 30k service and only got around to doing them at 48k miles? Or, if the 60k service was performed way ahead of its time.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks,
gbob

I would do it all just for the peace of mind. But that's just me. Nothing on that list is too difficult or daunting. The plugs and wires take some time, but that's it.

As has been pointed out by some astute members, the maintenace schedules seem to be slanted toward leased vehicles, so Rover could shift repairs to off lease owner.

Platinum plugs under normal conditions will go 60,000 some will go to 80,000. If you have grey factory wires, they should be replaced sooner then later with 8 mm silicone wires. As for fluids, the better the maintance on a Rover the better it will run and last. Consider using the up-grade fluids which are better then what was offered when your truck was produced.
