Default Yet another headliner...

So back in Nov. I had my windshield replaced and the glass shop knocked my headliner down.
I had to glue it back up so I could see, I used 3M spray glue.

As you can see it does not look to good.

The glass shop fully denied doing the damage to my otherwise almost pristine SUV.
Well because I have full coverage on my truck they paid for a replacement headliner.
$1060.
Brand new from Land Rover and it looks GREAT!!

looks great (pretty funny that you say the 3m made it look like crap and because of that there's a 3M ad at the bottom )

Holy smokes... a cool grand for a headliner!! Wow, sweet score, looks great. I painted mine about 2 months ago and it looks... well... OK... but I can tell it will need to receive some proper work in the future based on my wifes reaction... lol

Hey Spike, it's official, my fam and I are headed to Toledo this spring as I have a few years of training to complete in that area. Hopefully I will be able to make it up north for a little wheelin' now and then... I'm still trying to decide if I should pick up a Voyager rack from the guys in Port Charlotte before we leave. Think the wheelin' opportunities in OH/MI justify the purchase?

I'm jealous! I really need a new headliner, but its pretty far down the list at this point, at least for the next 3 years.

...maybe i'll be cheap and paint it this summer...

You dont need a roof rack for off roading, but if you can get away with buying one go for it man!!

Looks Really good. While on the Subject. What did you use to put on the trim around the Sunroof? Mine Came off and just have not bothered with it yet. Did you use the spray adhesive for that as well?

It does no cost that much to pay someone to do a proper headliner job. Every painted headliner I've seen looks, well, like it was spray painted in a garage, no offense.

Looks good spike.

I think I need to clarify, the headliner was $650, the rest was labor.
I did not do the work, a body shop did.
Insurance said to get a estimate, so I did, they sent me a check and then I had the work done.
Took a week for the headliner to come in.
Then I dropped the truck off Mon. morning and picked it up Mon afternoon.
They even hand washed the truck and cleaned the interior for me.
She looked brand new until I drove her home.
Now shes covered in road grime and salt again.

Now here is something totally Land Rover.
They reclined the drivers seat so they could work, I went to drive her home and the drivers seat would not work.
So I had to drive like a pimp, it sucked. I'm a adult so I sit upright when I drive.
Well today after I had told my girl how beautiful she was and how much I loved her the seat started working again.
I was going to replace the switch this weekend but now I dont need to.
God I love my truck.

i don't know i disagree. i could have easily done mine in fabric. but didnt want the hassle of having fabric sag and not to mention you can't write in chalk on fabric.. you can on my chalkboard painted headliner. i think either way works and if you paint it right it looks damn good.
