Yes, I have just pulled it off. I don't have everything put back together, but I was able to slide the coils on their bracket out the US passenger side of the engine bay, and then slide the new ones back in. I had to cut the inside heater hose because it was fused to the firewall and wouldn't come off. I had to do this because I could not for the life of me get the nuts off the metal SAI pipes, which meant I couldn't pull the intake manifold. I found several threads confirming that you can swap your plug wires without pulling the manifold, but I didn't see any that said you could replace the coils, so I just wanted to put this up in case anyone is wondering if it can be done.
