Default zf4hp22 gear shift solenoid
I have a bad shift solenoid on my Rover. Its an automatic zf4hp22 transmission. Have any of you ever seen a solenoid like this that screws in with a button on top? I can't seem to locate one. The only thing engraved on it is the brand, Pollak, and 8HA.

That's not a solenoid.

yeah...it looks like a detent switch......probably common....are you sure it's bad? checked for continuity/discontinuity?
