Default Another Tire Size Question

I've used the search function and gone through all of the old threads I can find but had a couple additional questions for you all. Anyone running 18" rims, what A/T tires have you had good experiences with? I'm stock ride height, so I'm looking at 255/55, 255/60 and 265/60 tires. I'd prefer something slightly larger than 255/55 but there seems to be very few choices in 255/60. Also, what load ratings are you guys running? I'm seeing things between 110 and 114 in these sizes and don't want to end up with something that's rock hard. Thanks in advance!

I personally have had awesome luck with Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws - I was an early adopter when they were first released and I've had multiple sets. Little pricier now than when they were released, but to me still worth the money if you're looking for a good AT. They've never disappointed me.

As for size, buzz through this and see if it helps you out any. on size choice. As far as load rating, I pretty much just pick a size and then get what's available. Most of my tires end up being 10 ply E rated anymore.

I'm running Kanati Trail Hogs on 18" wheels, and they've been great, but I don't think they are available in stock size (mine is lifted 2 inches, and thus the tires are bigger - see my signature for size). I have had a great experience with Falken Wildpeaks on my Volvo XC70 (pretty cheap compared to BFG K02s, which are the gold standard for AT tires), and the Falken Rubitreks on my Mitsubishi Pajero are the best AT tires I've ever had on anything, though they are more expensive. As for load rating, I usually just get what's available

i run Scorpion ATs on two of Rovers. i liked the look of the BFG KO2s better but the Scorpions are cheaper and handle better in the rain on pavement.
