About to pick up my new Disco sport from the dealer tomorrow. I heard that there is a powertrain software update that decreases the lag significantly and also fixes some other minor bugs. Does anyone know how I can check to see if this was done? Is there a way I can check on the trucks CPU to check the latest update? If so, what is the most current update?

Without a diagnostic tool I doubt you'd be able to tell for sure. Just ask your service advisor or whomever at dealer to confirm the update was done, AND you might ask for a printout corroborating this.

IMO they could just say it was done but if you get a printout from service with your vin and info on it saying the update was done then they are less likely to lie to you. Not saying they would but some have been shadier than others of late.
