Default 2019 LRDS oil change

Hi,

My wife just got a 2019 LRDS that was a trade in off a lease with 20k miles. The car was sitting at the dealership for about 6 months. the carfax said the oil.was changed at one of those express lube places (along with the oil drain plug replaced). The is some oil residue around the cap but the bottom of the car looks clean.

I want to change the oil since it was sitting for so long and the humidity out here in SoCal. The dealer might be around $300 or so I am guessing and the oil change kit is about $200. I see people use 5w20 or 0w20, that German Moly brand, it's pretty warm in SoCal so is 5w20 better? Then I saw a TD sheet by Shell there is a Pennzoil for Jaguars but can't find it in stores. I don't want to pay extra $$ for white labeled LR oil at the dealer. I dont think Amazon Basics makes oil for this car (which would be good quality and cheap) but what do you all use?

Also any idea for the filter kit part number and price?

Why do people use evac systems instead of dropping the skid plate and draining out the muck??

I have a 2019 Tundra so I am going to start looking into changing that oil too now that the maintenance is no longer free.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!!

Eric

Look at your manual and use an oil that has the LD spec.

I personally use Motul oil
