40,000km and rear brakes are worn out?! + battery dying on 2020 LR Discovery Sport
I got a 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport, this is my first Land Rover... Just took the car to the dealer for a power trunk not opening (looks like the battery is dying) also have occasional low battery warning in the car when I shut the engine off and the music is still on for a bit before I exit the car.
SO, on top of that issue, the dealer just let me know my rear brakes are apparently are due for replacement!
The car is at 40,000km! I am not an aggressive driver, don't drive off-road/hills or in the city (start/stop), mostly it's highway driving.
Is this normal or does Land Rover use the cheapest brakes possible? I had an SQ5 for 5 years before this with 86,000km and the brakes were still fine when I sold it! WTF

The rear brakes on the Discovery Sport wear out almost twice as fast as the fronts. Something to do with the towing capacity. Many new cars also report this.
Battery charging is a normal problem. Most owners buy a smart charger Land Rover uses a CTEK charger and charge the car on a regular basis.
After turning off the car the radio and usb are still live,, for a few minutes or until you open the door.
