Default Infotainment Update - Discovery Sport

Hi everyone,
i am new to this Forum and i am new to Land Rover. I have just purchased a 2015 Discovery Sport HSE LUX (Private Sale) and immediately noticed the following issues:

-Infotainment glitches
-Sat Nav issues
-Eco Start Stop not working

I rang the dealer who wants me to take it in for a check at a cost of £196.00, just for a diagnosis.

The infotainment goes wild every now and then and you have to restart the car for it to settle. Sat Nav error requires SD Card removal and inserting to work again. The Eco Start Stop light comes on and the activated message appears, but it never starts stops at any traffic light stops.

On the Infotainment system there is no option in the menu for any remote upgrades in the settings. Is it because this car has never had the initial install from the dealer?
I am clueless and don't want to pay £196.00 then to be told it will cost me for additional updates.

If anyone can help or advise i would be much obliged.

Thank you.

Entertainment issues. Clear out all the information that may have been left by first owner.

Sat Nav = copy the information from your sd card to a faster sd card and use the newer card (format card Fat32)

Start stop 99% caused by low battery. Charge battery overnight with a smart AGM charger CTEK is most recommended by owners. Charge monthly or when ever start/stop does not work. Most owners hate using the start / stop and turn it off each time they drive.

Don't know what system you have but most older cars can not be remotely upgraded.

Thank you Canuk. Yes i believe it is the battery for the start stop, but like you say, i don't like the start stop anyway, so that does not bother me. The maps i can sort, thank you. I have tried the delete option for the infotainment system without success. Intermittently it just goes haywire. If you switch the car off and leave for 10 or 15 minutes, then most times it resets and settles. Not sure if it is anything to do with bluetooth connectivity.

Appreciate your reply.
