Angry Mislock Warning - 2018 Disco Sport

Hi all, Owner of a 2018 Disco Sport HSE and am having an issue with the vehicle's locking system.

I noticed on our InControl app that the car was unlocked. Used the key fob to lock (one press), and noticed the side view mirrors did not fold in and the tail lights did not flash as usual. About 3 seconds after the lock, two short honks came from the car - I believe this is the LR mislock warning. Kept the key in our mudroom so keyless entry wouldn't interfere and checked all 4 side doors, each were locked and secure. Bonnet was tight, I felt no upward give. The trunk was closed and tight as well. I reopened all doors, bonnet, and trunk and closed them securely. Went back indoors and used the fob to lock again (one press) and noticed, again, that the side mirrors did not fold in and the car honked again with a mislock warning.

Today, I took the car to our LR dealer. Tech said all door latches and modules are functioning as expected, including the trunk. They performed some resets and unfortunately this didn't resolve our issue. The InControl app still shows the car is unlocked, and the key fob's lock button triggers the same mislock alert. Tested the doors and they are still locking despite the message. They mentioned we should order new door latches and modules and replace these to see if this resolves things (), but I'm skeptical replacing parts in working order just to see if this fixes it ...

Given the doors are locking, it's more of an inconvenience than anything (having to get the key fob away from the car, run back and check that it's actually locked). Does anyone have experience with this issue? Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot of fix? Some other notes:
  • Prior to the issue, I used to notice the trunk 'whirring' as it locked. An initial click once it was onto the latch, and a whirring noise as if the lock was securing it in place. I no longer here this whirring noise but apparently there is no issue with the trunk
  • Key fob battery is new - It's not a faulty fob
  • Car is basically new - we've got just north of 30k miles

Open all your doors, trunk and hood. Then give them all a hard slam to close and then test. I had that problem and it was the hood that needed a hard shut, not a gentle touch

Thanks! Tried this before, and once again at your recommendation. Unfortunately, this didn't resolve things Any other ideas?

Default 2019 Discovery Mislock

Here to report the same issue. When I lock, I get a double honk mislock and mirrors don't fold. Doors lock. Hood and trunk closed. Issue started after I had body work done after a minor accident to my passenger doors. Hoping someone has found a solution.
