Exclamation No sound with Android auto

Since a few weeks there is no more sound when using Android auto in the Discovery sport. Android is already update and also the smartphone. Even the software in the car is up to date. When I use the phone in another car it works fine with Android auto. Has anyone an idea what could be the problem?
Thanks in advance for you answers.

Afraid I can't offer a solution, but I'm having exactly the same problem. Audio plays through Pivi, but doesn't through Android Auto. Seems to change the Bluetooth settings as soon as AA launches, disabling media connectivity. No idea why. Works fine in other cars.

Hi, can you tell which OS version in the car you have? My car says it's OS 3.2.1 and there is no update available.

Default Android auto temporary fix

Here's the solution I found. Go into your land Rover settings and disable " automatically connect to Android auto". When you get in the car, connect it with a USB cable. Then activate Android auto. Then test to make sure your music can play through Android auto. Once you have confirmation you can disconnect the cable and it will play wirelessly.

I have to do this every time.

You may have to forget the phone on your car and forget the car on your phone first time.

Hi. Thanks for your reply, but in the meantime I could solve the problem myself. I can't explain how I really did it, but when I connected the smartphone with the cable and checked the volumesettings, I saw that the volume for bluetooth was muted. I don't know how this happened, because in another car (Jaguar) it worked fine, but not in the Discovery with the same smartphone. When the smartphone was wireless connected with the car and I checked the volume, the bluetooth session was not visible. With the cable it was and so I could solve the problem.
