Default Third part Dashcam

I own a Discovery sport 2018 (India) and is still under warranty.
I tried speaking to the service centre locally to hardwire a third party dash cam. They have flatly refused that they cannot do it and JLR does not allow it.
They also say that it will void the warranty.

I don't understand, how tapping the fuse will void the warranty? I believe fuses are meant for this purposes and the warranty terms does not state this explicitly.
Any thoughts on this will be useful. If its done it at their service station then there will not be any issues in future.

Also, I am thinking of using the ODP for this. Is this feasible?
