Default Tire/Tyre Recommendations for Discovery Sport

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a new set of tires for my Discovery Sport which currently has Hankook Ventus Evo2's on it on stock 20" wheels. I'm not a fan of these as they seem to ride very loud and firmly. I also read that they are bad in snow.

I'm looking for something that will be a good four season option suitable for use in the US Pacific North West. I will use them only in occasional snow/ice going to the mountains, on sand from time to time, and of course dry and wet conditions.

Is there a solid all-rounder that will be a quiet/comfortable ride and handle well?

Thanks in advance!

...are the stock Continentals really that bad? They're pricey, no doubt, but check all your boxes. I live down in SoCal and in addition to regular freeway commuting have taken my DS on ski trips up to Mammoth with lots of snow and they've performed great in slippery ice and fresh snow conditions. Sandy roads throughout SoCal haven't been an issue either.

I don't have those tires, I bought mine with Hankook Ventus Evo 2's on it.
