Exclamation P38 Engine Problems

Hi, I just finished replacing the dead 4.0L from my '96, with a lightly used 4.6 donated from a '98. I fired it up, but I encountered a few problems.

My first problem was, the engine temperature gage does not work. This is my first Range Rover, so I don't know where everything is on it. I'm pretty sure that the thermostat is on the Righthand side (Looking from the front of the engine), by the injectors, and the coolant bleeder valve, but i'm not sure where the thermostat gage sensor is. Is it not working because I maybe don't have it hooked up, or maybe it's a fuse?

And my final problem was, every time I step on the brakes, the ABS warning light, along with the traction control light, and the emergency brake light comes on.

My Questions are:

1) Where is the thermostat gage sensor?

2) Is there, and if so, where is the fuse for the Temp gage?

3) Is the warning light for the brakes the computer, or did I disconnect something, and forgot to hook it back up?
