Hello, how can I activate the XYZ safety switch for the 4L60 transmission to make it compatible with my Rover Discovery 2? My second question is, can I replace the Rover's ECU, and if so, what systems will I lose if I do so, since I will be using an LS engine and transmission? Thank you all.
First, have you found a transferase adapter and transferase that will work with 4l60?
On the xyz switch im not sure how it compatible or not with discovery BCU. Check rave manual and service manuals for Both. so see what will work. D2 xyz switch Conects to BCU.
Replacing ecu you will have to work on : cruise control, a/c on off, hill descent control, traction control, maybe some more. I can't think of them. Hopefully someone can reply.
