Trying to identify the displacement of the current engine after it had a swap from the previous owner. Vehicle is a 2002 disco 2 SE LHD. OEM was a 4.0, but the current block looks as large as my 02 disco 2 SE7 with the 4.6. Listed below is the stamp off the block I need identified. Thank you in advance.

 

Externally the 4.0 and 4.6 motors look identical, same external size.

To my knowledge those numbers cannot be used to tell whether it's a 4.0 or 4.6, though someone else may have better knowledge on that subject. It's more of a factory serial number.
