Build thread mainly to share the project and along the way adopt any guidance or advice to improve the overall rig performance and reliability. Open to all criticism, thank you for your time.
The dream rig in the making: Finally got around to tackling this project after quite a bit of homework and collecting coins over some time now. The 2.5L 4cyl (19j) is out and the 3.0L 5cyl (617a) is on its way in. 5speed LT77 behind it mated to an LT230 t-case, geared at 4.75 @ the diffs.
Followed along many different threads to even get to this point, but the one that helped me pull the trigger is without a doubt raeuspius thread on his 95 discovery (617a - r380 - lt 230). Following this pretty much to the tee, with a few exceptions on the engine build itself.
Well, enough talk, here is some footage of the project.
