99 land rover discovery

Default 99 land rover discovery

Could some one show me a dilagram of the motor to see where the fuel lines are so we can see if the motor is getting fuel or how do we test for fuel

Well, that would depend on if you have a D1 or a D2, 99 was a switch over year. If your motor looks like this, it is a D1, and the fuel test port is on the passenger side fuel rail, 32-34 PSI. If a D2, it is under the driver side rear of the top section of the intake manifold. The whole shop manual is a free download below.

Should hear fuel pump run for like 2 seconds when you switch on the key to position 2. There will be a crash switch (inertia switch) on the firewall, try pressing top down to reset it.

Default p1843 and p1842 codes and can not hear fuel pump when key is turn on

Could someone please guide me in the right direction for this problem. I have a 99 land rover discovery. We parked it and it was running and now it would turn over but wont start. the codes p1843 and p1842. i can not hear the fuel pump come on and wont start please help thanks
