Since there is so much good help in LRF, can a "Thank You" button be made available to thank the member for their helpful hints?
Of course this should be recorded so some won't thank a zillion times the same reply and the member can see that their goodwill is also helping the post readers.
It's just an easy way to give recognition.

Most people just add a final post to their original thread. I am about to add a couple new sections and am not sure if I have enough space for your idea, good as it is, I'll see.
