Hi,

I am hoping to get some help, my Freelander started to jump out of gear and into neutral, this happens usually after 2nd gear. I have read on some of the Discovery forums that this could be MAF related, does this also apply to the Freelander, also have a couple of other codes P01471 & P01472 but I think these are unrelated.

get someone with a scanner to read any stored codes in the computer for the transmission......there are 9 ( yup..9 ) solenoids in the transmission and any one of them could be at fault
start with that

I am going to attempt to replace the solenoids in the transmission, however could someone let me know what size wrench I would need to remove the transmission coolant lines ?
